Aukso is the Lithuanian word for gold. In grammar, aukso is the genitive singular form of the noun auksas, used to indicate possession, composition, or material in compound expressions. It commonly appears in phrases such as aukso spalva (the color of gold) and aukso kaina (the price of gold), where it functions as a modifier describing the attribute.
