areabisector
Areabisector, or area bisector, is a concept in plane geometry referring to a line, curve, or other partition that cuts a planar region into two parts of equal area. If a straight line L divides a region R so that the areas on its two sides are equal, L is an areabisector of R. The term can also apply to more general partitions, including curves, that produce halves of equal measure.
Existence and basic properties: For any planar region of finite area, there exist area bisectors for many
Examples: In a circle, every diameter is an areabisector. In a triangle, each median from a vertex
Applications: Areabisectors appear in geometric construction, computer graphics, geographic information systems, and optimization problems where equal
