Rights and privacy considerations are important, and access policies may restrict sensitive materials. Digital archiving is a growing area, with archívy increasingly managing born-digital records. Strategies include bit-level preservation, format migration, redundant storage, and adherence to archival reference models such as OAIS. Challenges include funding, technical obsolescence, and legal or privacy restrictions.
