Ankarplatsen is a public square located in the Östermalm district of Stockholm, Sweden. The square is known for its large anchoring blocks of stone, which are surrounded by a two-meter-high border of granite. The design of the square was chosen through a competition in 1936, and the project was completed in 1988.
