Östermalm

Östermalm is a borough (stadsdelsområde) in Stockholm Municipality, Sweden, located on the eastern side of central Stockholm. It is bordered by Norrmalm to the south and Vasastaden to the west, with the waters of Nybroviken to the northeast and the district across the bay nearby.

The borough is known for its affluent residential areas and broad avenues lined with late 19th- and early 20th-century buildings. It houses a mix of housing, commercial offices, and cultural institutions, reflecting its role as a central, upscale part of the city.
