In hair care, amodimethicone provides slip, reduces frizz, improves combability, and imparts shine. It forms a thin, flexible film on the hair surface and, due to ionic interactions with keratin, partially binds to damaged sites. The result is moisture retention and improved manageability, along with static control in humid conditions.
