Following POST, a boot loader (such as GRUB or NTLDR) may appear, responsible for loading the operating system kernel. Subsequent screens show the operating system's loading process, including progress indicators or logos. The purpose of aloitusnäytöt is to ensure system hardware is functional and to initiate the operating system, preparing the device for user interaction. Different devices may have variations in their startup screens, depending on the manufacturer and installed software.
