Aikból, also known as Aïkbol or Aik-Böl, is a traditional nomadic game originating from Central Asia, particularly associated with Kyrgyz culture. It is a team sport played on horseback, often described as a precursor to modern polo or a form of field hockey played with horses. The objective of the game is to score points by throwing or carrying a specially prepared goat carcass, called a "tekke" or "kól-boru," into the opponent's goal.

The game is physically demanding and requires significant skill in horsemanship, teamwork, and strategy. Players, typically young men, maneuver their horses to gain possession of the carcass, passing it among teammates or attempting to carry it to the goal. Opposing players try to intercept the carcass, dislodge the carrier, or block their path. The physicality of the game can be intense, with riders often engaging in close combat for possession.

Historically, aikból was not just a sport but also a means of training for warfare, honing skills essential for nomadic warriors. It promoted camaraderie and demonstrated prowess.
