afganglanding
Afganglanding is a term used in Danish aviation to describe the combined phases of takeoff and landing during a flight. The word is a compound of afgang (departure) and landing (landing). In practice, afganglanding can refer to either the sequence of operations from liftoff to touchdown or, more commonly, to a training or evaluation focus on these two critical phases.
In flight training, afganglanding is often used to describe the subset of pilot training that covers takeoff
In airline and airport operations, references to afganglanding may appear in performance analyses or safety reviews
