Zeichensalat
Zeichensalat is a term often used in computing and typography to describe a jumble of unrelated or incorrectly displayed characters. This phenomenon can occur for a variety of reasons, typically stemming from issues with character encoding, font rendering, or data corruption. When a system attempts to display text using the wrong encoding, for example, characters might be misinterpreted and rendered as nonsensical symbols, numbers, or even other letters.
