Zajcami

zajcami is a Polish word that represents the instrumental plural case of the noun zajac, which means hare or rabbit. In Slavic languages, the instrumental case is used to indicate the means or instrument with which an action is performed, and in plural form it typically ends with -ami or -ami after adding a consonant. Thus the form zajcami translates literally to “with the hares” or “by means of hares.” This form appears in medieval Polish and now in contemporary Polish poetry and prose, where it can be used for stylistic reasons or to preserve a rhythmic meter.

The noun zajac is derived from Proto-Slavic zajǫcь, a name for the European hare.
