Yeongdeungpo

Yeongdeungpo is a district located in Seoul, South Korea. It is situated in the southwestern part of the city, south of the Han River. Historically, Yeongdeungpo was a rural area and a center for agriculture, particularly rice cultivation. However, with rapid industrialization and urbanization in the latter half of the 20th century, it transformed into a major commercial and industrial hub.
