Wittenbergins

Wittenbergins refers to the inhabitants of Wittenberg, a city in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Historically, the term is most closely associated with the significant religious and intellectual events that took place in Wittenberg during the Protestant Reformation. Martin Luther, a pivotal figure of the Reformation, was a professor at the University of Wittenberg and famously posted his Ninety-five Theses on the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg in 1517. This act is widely considered the beginning of the Reformation.
