Wirówki

Wirówka, also known as a centrifuge, is a piece of laboratory equipment that uses centrifugal force to separate components of a mixture. This separation is achieved by spinning the mixture at high speeds. Components with higher density are forced outwards, while those with lower density remain closer to the center.

The principle behind a wirówka is based on the sedimentation of particles in a fluid under acceleration. When subjected to centrifugal force, particles that are denser than the surrounding fluid will sediment faster than less dense particles. This allows for the separation of substances based on their size, shape, and density.
