Wikimediarelated

Wikimediarelated is a term used to describe anything associated with or pertaining to the Wikimedia Foundation or its projects. The Wikimedia Foundation is a non-profit organization that operates a range of collaborative, multilingual, free-content Internet projects. The most well-known of these is Wikipedia, a free online encyclopedia.

Other major Wikimedia projects include Wikimedia Commons, a repository of freely usable media files; Wikidata, a free knowledge base; and Wikivoyage, a free, open-content travel guide. The term "Wikimediarelated" can encompass a wide variety of things, such as software developed for Wikimedia projects, volunteer contributions to these projects, discussions about Wikimedia's policies or future, or even events and conferences organized by or for the Wikimedia community.

Individuals and organizations working on or with Wikimedia projects are often described as "Wikimedia-related." This can include developers creating tools for editors, researchers studying Wikipedia's content, educators integrating Wikimedia projects into their teaching, or activists advocating for open knowledge and free culture through Wikimedia initiatives. The scope is broad, reflecting the diverse ways people engage with and contribute to the Wikimedia ecosystem.
