WestAsian

WestAsian refers to a geographic and cultural region that encompasses the western extensions of Asia, typically including countries and territories stretching from the Levant and the Eastern Mediterranean to the Arabian Peninsula and the Gulf region.

Geographically, the WestAsian region often includes parts of modern-day Turkey, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Israel, Palestine, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, and Yemen. These countries exhibit cultural, linguistic, and religious diversity, with Islamic, Christian, Jewish, and other traditions represented across the region.

The WestAsian region is distinguished by its rich cultural heritage, which includes contributions to literature, art, architecture, and science from ancient civilizations such as the Sumerians, Akkadians, Babylonians, Assyrians, and Persians.
