Wazodylatacja, also known as vasodilation, is a physiological process that involves the widening of blood vessels, particularly the arteries and veins. This process is primarily regulated by the body's autonomic nervous system and is influenced by various factors, including hormones, neurotransmitters, and local metabolic conditions. Vasodilation is essential for maintaining proper blood flow and oxygen delivery to tissues, as well as for regulating blood pressure and fluid balance.

The primary mechanism of vasodilation involves the relaxation of smooth muscle cells in the vessel walls, which are typically contracted in a state of vasoconstriction.
