Wako
Wako, officially Wako-shi (和光市), is a city located in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. It lies in the Kantō region and is part of the Greater Tokyo Area, situated to the northeast of central Tokyo. The city is primarily residential, with commercial districts, public parks, libraries, and local cultural facilities. It is governed by a mayor-council form of government and provides typical municipal services such as public education, health care, sanitation, and disaster preparedness.
