WFUNA

WFUNA, or the World Federation of United Nations Associations, is an international non-governmental organization that aims to promote the principles and work of the United Nations. Established in 1978, WFUNA serves as a platform for national UN associations and affiliated organizations to collaborate, advocate for multilateral diplomacy, and advance global peace, development, and human rights.

The organization’s core activities include engaging with civil society and policymakers, raising awareness about the UN’s work, and supporting initiatives aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). WFUNA also focuses on fostering youth participation, promoting peacebuilding efforts, and advocating for effective multilateral governance to tackle global challenges such as climate change, inequality, and conflict.

Headquartered in New York City, WFUNA operates through a network of national associations across more than 100 countries.
