Võrgusõltuvus, also known as internet addiction or problematic internet use, refers to a compulsive need to use the internet that interferes with daily life. It is characterized by excessive time spent online, leading to neglect of personal responsibilities, social relationships, and physical health. Individuals may experience withdrawal symptoms like irritability or anxiety when unable to access the internet.

The causes of võrgusõltuvus are complex and can include psychological factors such as loneliness, depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem.
