Väriledkopiokoneet, or color LED copiers, are digital imaging devices that produce color copies by utilizing light-emitting diodes (LEDs) as their light source. They also allow for more compact and lightweight machine designs as they do not require warm-up time and produce less heat.

The copying process in a color LED copier typically involves scanning the original document with a linear array of red, green, and blue LEDs. This light illuminates the page, and the reflected light is captured by a sensor. This captured image data is then processed, and a color toner image is formed on a photoreceptor drum. The toner is then transferred to the paper and fused into a permanent image through heat and pressure.

Color LED copiers are known for their ability to produce high-quality color reproductions with sharp text and vibrant images. They are commonly found in office environments and printing shops where color duplication is a frequent requirement. The technology has evolved to offer features such as duplex copying, network connectivity, and various finishing options, making them versatile tools for modern document management and production.
