Värigradients

Värigradients, often referred to as color gradients, are a visual tool used in graphic design, web development, and digital art to represent a smooth transition between two or more colors. Instead of a sharp, abrupt change, a gradient blends hues gradually, creating a sense of depth, dimension, or atmospheric effect.

There are several types of color gradients. The most common is the linear gradient, where colors transition along a straight line. This can be oriented horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Radial gradients, on the other hand, emit colors outward from a central point in a circular or elliptical pattern. Angle gradients revolve colors around a central point at a specific degree. Reflected gradients create a mirrored effect, while diamond gradients form a square or diamond shape.

In design applications like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator, users can define gradient stops, specifying the colors and their positions within the transition. Web developers utilize CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) to implement gradients directly in web pages, offering a lightweight and dynamic way to enhance visual appeal.
