Vyádánívyiadanie

Vyádánívyiadanie is a coined term used in linguistics and information science to describe an integrated process in which explicit expression and the discovery of underlying data structures occur together. It denotes the simultaneous practice of articulating content clearly while revealing latent patterns, categories, or relationships within a corpus.

Etymology and scope. The word is a neologism drawn from Slavic linguistic roots related to expression (for example vyjadrenie, vyjadňovanie) and uncovering or identifying (vyjavlennie). The repetition of the vy- element is intended to emphasize the dual nature of the process: outward articulation and inward discovery. The term is not widely standardized and appears primarily in experimental, cross-linguistic discussions of language data and semiotic analysis.

Concept and methodology. In practice, vyádánívyiadanie involves two parallel tracks: producing precise, explicit statements or annotations, and applying analytical methods to expose underlying structures such as semantic fields, discourse roles, or syntactic patterns. The approach prioritizes transparency, making expressed claims traceable to observable data and ensuring that data-driven findings inform explicit descriptions.

Applications and limitations. The concept has been proposed for corpus linguistics, translation studies, and human–computer interaction, including explainable AI, where interpretable labeling and pattern discovery go hand in hand. Limitations include the lack of standard definitions, potential cross-language ambiguity, and the risk of conflating expressive acts with data-driven insights.
