Votegathering refers to the efforts undertaken by political campaigns and organizations to identify, persuade, and mobilize eligible voters to cast their ballots for a particular candidate or issue. The initial phase of votegathering involves voter identification, where campaigns use data analytics, polling, and direct outreach to determine who is likely to vote and for whom. This information helps in targeting resources effectively.
