Vorsatzblätter
Vorsatzblätter, also known as endpapers, are the sheets of paper found at the beginning and end of a book, connecting the text block to the cover. They typically consist of two leaves, one pasted to the inside of the cover (the pastedown) and the other left free (the flyleaf). These leaves are usually made of a stronger paper than the text pages to provide durability and support.
