Viperalias
Viperalias is a genus of venomous snakes in the family Viperidae, native to Africa and the Middle East. The genus includes several species, with the most well-known being the Egyptian Cobra (Naja haje) and the Common Cobra (Naja naja). Viperalias species are characterized by their triangular-shaped heads, vertical pupils, and the presence of heat-sensing pits between the eye and the nostril on each side of the head.
These snakes are primarily nocturnal and inhabit a variety of habitats, including deserts, grasslands, and forests.
Viperalias species are of significant interest to scientists due to their unique biology and venom composition.
