Vieraskoneen

Vieraskoneen is a Finnish term that translates to "guest machine" or "host machine" in English, depending on the context of virtualization. In computing, a vieraskoneen refers to the physical computer or server that hosts one or more virtual machines. This host system provides the necessary hardware resources, such as CPU, memory, and storage, that are then allocated to the guest virtual machines. The operating system running on the vieraskoneen is typically a standard operating system like Windows, Linux, or macOS.

Virtualization software, often called a hypervisor, runs on the vieraskoneen. This hypervisor manages the creation, execution, and allocation of resources to the virtual machines.
