Vesilentokone

Vesilentokone, also known as a water turbine, is a rotary engine that converts the kinetic energy and potential energy of flowing or falling water into mechanical energy. This mechanical energy is then often used to generate electricity through a generator. Water turbines are a key component in hydroelectric power plants, which are a significant source of renewable energy worldwide.

The basic principle behind a vesilentokone involves the flow of water over a series of blades or buckets mounted on a rotor. The force of the water causes the rotor to spin, which is connected to a shaft that drives a generator.
