Vesikulära

Vesikulära is the Swedish adjective corresponding to the English term "vesicular," used to describe structures, processes or patterns characterized by vesicles — small membrane-bound sacs or bubble-like cavities. The word appears in medical, biological and geological contexts and is derived from the Latin vesicula, meaning "little bladder" or "small sac."

In cell and molecular biology, vesikulära refers to phenomena involving intracellular vesicles, such as vesikulär transport (vesicular transport), endocytosis and exocytosis. These processes are central to trafficking of proteins and lipids, neurotransmitter release at synapses, and the formation of organelles like endosomes and lysosomes.
