Vertrauenskonten
Vertrauenskonten, in German-speaking contexts often called Treuhandkonten, are bank accounts established and managed by a fiduciary to hold funds on behalf of third parties. The central characteristic is the segregation of the beneficiary’s money from the fiduciary’s own assets, with funds released only when predefined conditions of the agreement are met.
