Beneficiarys is a commonly used but incorrect plural form of beneficiary. A beneficiary is a person or organization entitled to receive benefits or assets under a contract, will, trust, life insurance policy, retirement plan, or other arrangement. The correct plural in most jurisdictions is beneficiaries, and the exact rights of a beneficiary depend on the governing document and applicable law.

Beneficiaries can be designated for many types of assets. Common examples include life insurance policies, retirement accounts (such as IRAs and 401(k)s), pensions, annuity contracts, and distributions from trusts or wills.
