Verteilungsaufgaben, often translated as distribution tasks or allocation problems, are a class of mathematical optimization problems concerned with efficiently assigning resources to various demands or locations. These problems arise in numerous real-world scenarios, including logistics, supply chain management, and network design. The core objective is typically to minimize costs, maximize profits, or ensure a certain level of service while adhering to various constraints.

In this scenario, a certain quantity of goods needs to be transported from multiple sources (e.g., factories) to multiple destinations (e.g., warehouses or customers).
