Verdania is a fictional sovereign nation located in a temperate region on the western coast of the continent of Valoria. It covers about 320,000 square kilometers and features a varied landscape that includes coastal plains, rolling hills, and the Verdant Highlands. The climate is generally temperate with wet winters and warm summers, supporting diverse ecosystems and outdoor recreation.

Verdania operates as a constitutional republic. The president serves as ceremonial head of state, while the prime minister leads the government and a unicameral parliament elected by proportional representation. Public administration emphasizes transparency and rule of law, with subnational divisions organized into ten cantons that coordinate education, infrastructure, and local services.
