Vektoroimiseen
Vektoroimiseen, often translated as vectoring, is a process used in various fields, primarily in telecommunications and computer graphics, to represent and manipulate data. In telecommunications, vectoring is a technique employed in digital subscriber line (DSL) technologies, such as VDSL2, to improve data transmission speeds and reduce crosstalk. It works by analyzing the interference patterns between multiple copper wire pairs in a bundle and then generating compensatory signals to cancel out that interference. This allows for higher data rates over existing telephone lines, effectively extending the reach of high-speed broadband.
In the realm of computer graphics, vektoroimiseen refers to the conversion of raster images (pixel-based images)
