Veeaur is a fictional city-state used in world-building and speculative fiction. Described as a coastal urban center, it combines a diversified economy with cultural institutions and a multiethnic population. In many narratives, Veeaur serves as the political and economic hub of its region.

Veeaur began as a trading outpost on a sheltered harbor in the medieval era and gained city status by the 14th century. It expanded through port commerce, industrialization in the 19th century, and participation in a regional federation that governs its metropolitan area.
