A vector space is a mathematical space where elements, represented as vectors, can be added together and scaled. In this context, "neighbor" implies proximity based on a defined distance or similarity metric.

The process of finding vector neighbors typically involves calculating the distance or similarity between the reference vector and all other vectors in a dataset. Common distance metrics include Euclidean distance, Manhattan distance, or cosine similarity.
