Vatsakouristus, commonly known as abdominal cramping or spasmodic pain in the abdomen, refers to involuntary contractions of the abdominal muscles or internal organs, often accompanied by discomfort or pain. These spasms can arise from various underlying causes, ranging from mild digestive issues to more serious medical conditions.

The symptoms of vatsakouristus typically include sharp or cramp-like pain in the abdominal region, which may be intermittent or persistent.
