Vatnsfjörðar

Vatnsfjörður is a fjord located in the Westfjords region of Iceland. It is situated on the southern side of the Westfjords peninsula, opening towards Breiðafjörður bay. The area around Vatnsfjörður is characterized by its rugged coastline, steep mountains, and sparse vegetation. Historically, the fjord and its surrounding lands have been inhabited, though settlement is now very limited.
