Vastuvõttsüsteemide, commonly referred to as receiving systems, are essential components in various fields, particularly in telecommunications, radio astronomy, and sensing technologies. These systems are designed to detect, amplify, and process electromagnetic signals originating from a distant source. The fundamental purpose of a receiving system is to convert these often weak signals into a usable format for analysis or interpretation.

A typical receiving system comprises several key stages. The initial stage usually involves an antenna, which captures the incoming electromagnetic waves. Following the antenna, a low-noise amplifier (LNA) is crucial for boosting the signal strength without introducing significant additional noise, which could degrade the quality of the received data. Further processing may include demodulation, which extracts the information encoded within the signal, and digitization, converting the analog signal into a digital format for computer processing. Depending on the application, the signal might then be subjected to various forms of signal processing, such as correlation, spectral analysis, or image reconstruction. The ultimate goal is to extract meaningful information from the received signals, enabling tasks like communication, scientific discovery, or environmental monitoring.
