Vastakulkeva

Vastakulkeva is a Finnish adjective meaning moving in the opposite direction or counter-propagating. It is formed from vast- (opposite, against) and kulkeva (propagating, moving). The term is used in technical and scientific Finnish to describe entities, signals, or flows that propagate opposite to a reference direction or to another wave or stream.
