Valuationto is a standardized framework and open-source toolkit for corporate valuation. It provides a structured, auditable workflow that integrates multiple valuation methodologies into a single, transparent process.

Its modular data model supports inputs such as financial statements, market data, and deal comps, while core valuation methods include discounted cash flow analysis, comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions. It also supports risk adjustments, scenario analysis, Monte Carlo simulations, and versioned valuation reports, accessible via an API and a command-line interface.

Valuationto was initiated by a coalition of academics, practitioners, and open-source contributors in the early 2020s to democratize access to disciplined valuation methods. It is maintained by a community governance model and is not tied to a single vendor.

Users provide inputs such as revenue projections, margins, capital requirements, and market data; the framework computes a value range and a point estimate, along with confidence intervals and sensitivity analyses. Generated reports include methodology notes, data provenance, and audit trails.

Valuationto is released under an open-source license and managed on a public repository. Contributions are reviewed by maintainers following documented guidelines, and the project emphasizes transparency, reproducibility, and interoperability with other financial tools.
