It is situated in the northern seas of the imagined continent of Eledor, and consists of several islands that form a loose maritime network. The name, from Valokhian roots, is commonly interpreted as “light on the shore.”

Geography and environment: The five main islands—Asteris, Bruma, Celes, Drom, and Eyr—sit along a volcanic arc. Terrain ranges from volcanic highlands to mangrove‑lined coasts. The climate spans tropical to temperate, with coral reefs, cloud forests, and protected marine areas that support sustainable fisheries.
