Valdoran is a fictional sovereign nation commonly referenced in fantasy literature and role-playing games. It lies on the western coast of the continent of Eldara, with the Iron Mountains to the north, the Sea of Neris to the west, and the River Lorn forming part of its eastern frontier. The population centers cluster along the coast and major rivers, while the interior comprises rolling hills and forests.

Valdoran operates as a constitutional monarchy with a bicameral legislature. The monarch's role is largely ceremonial; executive power rests with a prime minister and cabinet accountable to parliament. The upper chamber is the Council of Estates and the lower chamber the Assembly. Elections are held every four years, with parties contesting national and regional seats.

The economy is diversified, featuring coastal trade, timber and mineral extraction, light manufacturing, and services. Fisheries and tourism also contribute to growth. The capital and principal port is Harthaven, which concentrates much of the commercial activity. The population is diverse, with Valdorian as the national language and multiple regional dialects.
