Vaelora is a fictional realm featured in the world of Eldara. It denotes both the continental mainland and a surrounding archipelago, as well as the diverse peoples who inhabit them. The name Vaelora is used in official and literary contexts to reference the region as a whole.

Geographically, Vaelora lies between temperate coastal zones and highland plateaus, with tropical forests to the south and alpine terrain inland. The principal waterways include the Lumin River and the Drath Delta, which support agriculture, trade, and urban growth. Natural resources include timber, iron, salt, and crystalline minerals used in magic-fueled crafts.

Historically, Vaelora developed from coastal city-states that formed the Vaeloran Compact to defend shared interests. In later centuries, political reform led to a Federal Council overseeing six provinces, with a ceremonial sovereign serving as head of state and a direct, representative assembly at the provincial level.
