VTKs

VTKs, or Volunteer Tax Preparer Kits, are standardized packages of materials provided to individuals who volunteer their time to prepare tax returns for others, particularly those with low to moderate incomes. These kits are typically distributed by organizations such as the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) or through programs like VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) and TCE (Tax Counseling for the Elderly). This often includes tax forms and publications, such as Publication 17 (Your Federal Income Tax) and the VITA/TCE Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program Handbook.
