Uraniumbearing refers to rocks, minerals, or commodities that contain uranium. In geological terms, material described as uranium-bearing may host uranium in a variety of mineral forms, including uraninite (pitchblende, UO2), coffinite (USiO4(OH)4), and a range of secondary minerals such as autunite, torbernite, carnotite, and uranophane. The uranium content is typically reported as weight percent U or as uranium oxide equivalents (U3O8).
