Uimaliitto

Uimaliitto is the Finnish Swimming Association, the national governing body for swimming, synchronized swimming, water polo, and diving in Finland. Founded in 1906, it is a member of the Finnish Sports Federation (Valo) and the International Swimming Federation (FINA).

The association's primary mission is to promote and develop aquatic sports throughout Finland. This includes organizing national competitions, selecting and supporting national teams, and developing training programs for athletes and coaches. Uimaliitto also plays a crucial role in education, offering courses and certifications for swimming instructors and referees.
