UNPAD

Universitas Padjadjaran, commonly abbreviated UNPAD, is a public research university located in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. It was founded on 11 September 1957 and is named after the ancient Sundanese kingdom Pajajaran. As one of the country’s largest and oldest public universities, UNPAD offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs across a wide range of disciplines, including the arts and humanities, social sciences, law, economics, engineering, medicine, and natural sciences.

The university operates its main campus in Bandung and maintains a satellite presence in Jatinangor, as well as facilities for clinical teaching in collaboration with Hasan Sadikin General Hospital for the Faculty of Medicine. The academic calendar follows the Indonesian system, with a focus on research, innovation, and community service.

UNPAD supports research centers and institutes, fostering collaborations with national agencies and international partners. It hosts student organizations, cultural events, and public lectures that engage local communities.
