UNMOGIP
The United Nations Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan, commonly known as UNMOGIP, is a United Nations peacekeeping mission established in 1949. Its primary mandate is to supervise the ceasefire between India and Pakistan in the disputed region of Jammu and Kashmir. UNMOGIP also assists in the implementation of other measures that the Security Council of the United Nations might decide upon.
