Túlfeszítéshez

Túlfeszítéshez is a Hungarian term that translates to "overtightening" or "excessive tensioning" in English. It refers to the act of applying too much force or pressure when tightening a fastener, such as a screw, bolt, or nut, or when stretching a material.

In mechanical applications, túlfeszítéshez can lead to several undesirable consequences. Overtightening bolts or screws can strip the threads, making them unable to securely fasten components. It can also deform or crack the materials being joined, weakening the overall structure. In some cases, excessive force can even cause the fastener itself to break.
